The objectives of SCOEPUS are (1) to evaluate SWOT products (data, corrections, flags) on the shelf, in estuaries and coastal lagoons, (2) to explore the contribution of SWOT and multisensor data to the study of water level variability and circulation in estuaries, coastal lagoons, and from the coast to the shelf break, (3) to study the observability of internal tides. The regions of interests are the Bay of Biscay and Gironde estuary, the South-East Asian seas with a focus on the Vietnamese coasts, Red River delta and Gulf of Tonkin and two coastal lagoons (Benin, Vietnam).
