SWOT Data: First Public Release
Some of the first data products from the Ka-Band Radar Interferometer (KaRIn) on the SWOT satellite are now publicly available. They include the first KaRIn Level-2 and Level-1B products, and can be found at NASA’s Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center and at the French space agency’s site, AVISO. The SWOT products are at a very early stage, with known limitations. The primary purpose of this first release is to familiarize users with science data products the KaRIn data instrument . Products with improved quality are planned for release starting in January 2024. Additional details are available in the product release note.
